Meet Maria
Hi there ♡ I'm Maria Gonzales. Bay Area Native, USAF Veteran, mother of 1 perfect baby girl, and maybe your doula! My path took a turn during a year-long hiatus after my separation from the military. Working in tech, I knew I needed a change. For the past 2 years, I have worked alongside fellow Bay Area birth workers to gain the experience and confidence to support families on my own. I have trained with Shafia Monroe Consulting (SMC) and practice as a Full Circle Birth Companion in San Jose, California and surrounding areas.
I am passionate about empowering women to bring their vision of Motherhood to life. I put an emphasis on education, informed consent, and family/community participation. Leaving no stone unturned, it is my mission to connect you with knowledge, resources, and all the tools you need. In postpartum, I spotlight Mothering the Mother; especially in the first 40 days.
